i just got my lip peirced just like that a few days ago...but my lip swelled up so much i had to take at least one out because it was rubbing a raw spot in my mouth... :( so now i have to let it grow up and get it redone... but i still have the other one at least.

really beautiful shot!!! :clap:

I had mine done separately, with half a year between the first and the second one; at least that was the advice I got. Didn't have any problems at all ;)

i guess i should have waited. but i just went and manage to get one of the horseshoe rings in my lip a little while ago because the swelling has gone done A LOT!!! you should have seen it this morning :giggle: i woke up around 5:42 this morning and i noticed it felt really weird so i went and checked it out and lets just say...that was the fatest lip i have ever seen!! :rofl: my parents when i got up late and they saw it...they just busted out laughing :P harharhar!! but hopefully it will start to go down and it will get better. but the dude that did it, he had dropped one of the balls and he used that one on the side that is messed up. so i dont know if that had anything to do with it or not...he cleaned it off really good though. but he did put it down a little bit lower than the other one.... :shrug:
